Courses for Personal Wellness:
- Communication Skills - students learn to improve their relationships with others by learning how to assertively and skillfully communication. Will cover listening skills, emotional self-regulations and conflict resolution.
- Relationship 101 - provides a roadmap for navigating healthy relationships. Students learn tools that enhance communication, friendship, and a sense of connection while learning healthy boundaries and conflict resolution skills.
- Anxiety and Stress Reduction - students in this class learn physical and cognitive relaxation techniques that will allow them to renegotiate their relationship with tensions. Students learn how to begin to reduce stress levels in this very moment.
- Mindful Social Media - students assess how they spend their time online while learning about some of the negative impacts of excessive use. Students are given tools to start improving their relationship with social media while exploring tendencies that may affect their overall health and wellbeing.
- Burnout Prevention - students are given the opportunity to examine how turnout may be affecting their lives, relationships and academic performance. Students learn skills to identify burnout and ways too reset and recover.
- Study Skills - students learn how to cultivate positive habits and manage their time effectively. Additionally students will explore their relationship with procrastination. Students will learn how to be more efficient in their study time allowing them to enjoy their academic experience more fully.
- Nutrition and Exercise - students explore their relationship between their body and minds. Nutrition and exercise are covered as key components to improving overall health and well-being. Students are given the opportunity to examine their relationship with exercise and roadblocks that may get in the way of overall health
- Self Esteem 101 - students explore what it is to have a healthy concept of self. Students examine unconscious patterns of self-dialouge and coming cognitive distortions that lead to confusion and self blame. Students are given tool to re-craft their view of themselves and how they interact with others.
- Mindfulness Meditation - students learn the basics of meditation, and how their nervous system may be working for or against them depending on the situation at hand. Through videos and readings instructions are given for how to settle the mind and body and move into the quiet space of meditation
- Financial Wellness - students examine their relationships with money and the choices they make around spending. Student debt, credit, credit scores, banking and budgeting are all discusses in detail. Students are given the opportunity to take control of their finances and negative spending habits.
- Grief and Loss - teaches students to begin healing by addressing the major stages of grief, exploring extensive self-care and developing simple practices to help cope with grief
- Sexual Harassment - walks students through basic legalities of sexual harassment, coping modalities, and how to hep others who have been harassed. Effective communication skills and how to properly report harassment are included.

- Anger management - invites students to re-examine their relationship with anger and how it affects their lives. Students will develop more effective skills for hw to appropriately and skillfully respond to stressful situations.
- Alcohol and Other Drugs - helps students examine the root causes of problematic and excessive use of substances. Students learn skills to prevent the most common negative outcomes, including impaired academic performance, risky behaviours, and substance use disorders.
- CoParenting and Divorce Education - students will learn how to effectively communicate with their child's other parents while managing the difficulties that occur during divorce. Students learn respectful parenting and relationship tools that guarantee smooth transition during this rough time
- Domestic Violence - students will learn to establish and maintain boundaries while recognizing the ways in which relationship violence can appear. Students will learn healthy relational skippy to build safe and respectful relationships
- Battery Intervention - students will learn how to establish and maintain boundaries and recognize the many ways in which relationship violence can appear. Students will learn healthy relational behaviours and communication skills to build relationships that are safe and respectful
- Parenting 101 - outlines empowered and gentle parenting while helping students cultivate responsibility, respect and independence in their children. Students learn how to disentangle from power struggles and how to lovingly and authentically communicate with family
- Shoplifting - taking time to figure out the patterns of shoplifting behaviour is an important step in recovery from a shoplifting addiction or impulse. Students will learn how to acknowledge behaviours in order to make them easier to control
