• Systems Planning - Systems Planning is the process of strategically mapping, coordinating, and delivering services, supports, and programs with the rights, needs, and desires of the client/user at the centre. Its aim is to create an integrated ecosystem of care in which various actors and systems work together towards solutions to complex social problems.

• Systems Mapping -  Systems mapping is all about making sense of your local complexity in a methodical fashion, and giving you the information you need in real-time to make better decisions at a policy, funding, and service-design level. In other words, to meaningfully transform systems, we need to have at minimum the most basic information about the services operating in a region:

1. What services do they offer?
2. Who are they serving?
3. Who’s funding them?
4. What capacity/occupancy they have?
5. What users say about them?
6. How are users accessing them?

• LETHBRIDGE -  The City of Lethbridge, AB mobilized over 400 service providers to develop a coordinated response to community safety and wellbeing. HelpSeeker was used to develop a comprehensive systems map to this end and showcase how best to coordinate over $700M in annual investments locally. • GRANDE PRAIRIE - Grande Prairie has made remarkable progress in prevention and intervention strategies for poverty and homelessness since the development and implementation of numerous plans from 2009 onward. Many of these plans call for increased collaboration and integration of community agencies to work together to improve delivery of social services. The purpose of Integrated Coordinated Access (ICA) is to develop a standardized process that individuals in need and service providers can follow to improve service delivery and coordination of resources for social supports. The Grande Prairie Integrated Coordinated Access Model prioritizes the development of a community-wide strategy to improve access to social services with both immediate and long-term recommendations.
