AUREA STANDS FOR AROMANTIC-SPECTRUM UNION FOR RECOGNITION, EDUCATION, AND ADVOCACY
AUREA’s goal is to assist in the growth of the aromantic community and advocate for its interests through furthering recognition and education internationally. To do so we assemble information about aromanticism, including vocabulary, research, online resources, links to in-person groups, and printable educational materials. We aim to be a contact point for researchers and media looking to explore the aromantic experiences. Our news feed informs about the ongoing developments in the community.

- FAQ - frequently asked questions about aromanticism and experiences of people on the aromantic spectrum.
- Glossary - is a continuously updating record of terms that have been and are being used in the aromantic community by at least one person. As a record, this glossary is meant to document the various concepts that are thought up when the language is not sufficient to describe people’s experiences and doesn’t encourage or discourage the use of any term. Please keep in mind these are shortened definitions and identities can be nuanced.
- Additional Resources - a collection of materials to use, as well as both informative and interactive online resources on the topic of aromanticism. The interactive resources we have put together we have checked for inclusion of aromantic people. However, we recommend researching the resource yourself before getting involved so you can see which group aligns best with your needs.
- Research - a compilation of research done with and on aromantics as well as some academic resources on aromanticism-related experiences. This page will update as more investigations are conducted with the community. Where available, links and sources to find the reports have been included.
