    This is a grassroots initiative in Calgary, Alberta that is all about inspiring people to be the change in Calgary, Our group is all about loving acts of kindness to help homeless individuals and better our communities

     

    Our mission through volunteers is to provide assistance to those experiencing homelessness by offering tangible essentials:

    • including,
    • food,
    • water,
    • hygiene,
    • clothing,
    • harm reduction supplies,
    • resource guides and program referrals to access housing,
    • detox,
    • shelters,
    • all other essential needs to ultimately end the cycle of homelessness.

    Street Outreach - We walk the streets/back-alleys of Calgary, on foot, every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 5:30 – 9:00 pm. We hand out essentials:

    • food
    • water
    • clothing
    • hygiene
    • harm reduction supplies
    • resource guides
    • referrals to help individuals experiencing homelessness access resources to end the cycle of homelessness

    Shopping Bag Recycling - We crochet old grocery bags, whether ripped or not, into sleeping mats for the homeless. Sleeping mats like these are great for helping to insulate a person in from direct contact with the ground or floor.

    Once you have enough bags please contact us for a pickup.
