EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

 

  • CUPS Child Development Centre - The CUPS Child Development Centre is for children ages 3 to 6 who come from low-income families. Here, children who have education challenges get support as they learn and grow. For More Info Click Here

ECONOMIC 

 

  • The CUPS Crisis Intervention Fund - offers one-time financial aid to cover housing costs, including: Damage deposit; First month's rent;  Utility disconnection;  Eviction notices etc. For More Info Click Here

 

  • Tax Clinics - Once a month, you can get free help filling out and filing your income tax forms. You need to file taxes to receive social assistance benefits. For More Info Click Here

 

  • Graduated Rent Outreach - Through the Graduated Rent Subsidy Program (GRSP), you can get ongoing financial aid with your rent. For More Info Click Here

SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL SUPPORT

 

  • Community Development - Adults and families can apply for a rental subsidy (financial aid) and community building programs in a Calgary Homeless Foundation apartment building.  For More Info Click Here

 

  • Parent Education & Nurturing Parenting Program - CUPS has free parent education programs, classes and activities that help caregivers build positive skills. Parents will learn about: Brain development; Adverse Childhood Experiences & Resiliency; Empathy; Bonding and attachment; Discipline; Routines; Age appropriate expectations; Self-awareness; Understanding and expressing feelings; Self-care.
